I don't know why I find lotus pods fascinating, but I do... Apologies to anyone viewing who suffers Trypophobia.

Not bad at all for a quickie. The film effect is cute and makes it more of a timeless home movie. It doesn't hurt that your subject is cute as a button. You should be proud, if not of the vid, at of least the subject.

The K-1 doesn't do bad. I've had a tele on, bird watching on a tripod and hit the vid button for laughs once or twice. It does a decent job for what it is. We've just come to expect a lot... there was a time that only big budget movie makers could do decent quality video recordings, now, anyone with a decent credit card can get the equipment to do movie screen quality vids.

^^ Excellent series!

Wide open shooting
Sharpness at the center, but dreamy everywhere else. This is a crop; frame was centered on his face.

Norm, I found these words profoundly sad. Quite true also, and you're right not putting any 'veneer' on your them...to soften the message. I think that photo of the young bear, with two yellow tags in his ears, along with the message as you have written...with my very slight editing (hope you don't mind) ...would be good to have as a poster in camping and wilderness areas to reinforce the terrible consequences for this bear and other wildlife...when people start feeding wildlife.

Hey mate, nice stuff as usual! It is your posts that convinced me to pull the trigger on the 35mm F2. Just got it yesterday, and so far very impressed. Pictures to come!
