If anyone is looking to make some money on the side, these people seem to be hiring.

Even so, it is a nice image. Not restful, but pretty and definitely art. I like it.
Your feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

If employed, do you get to keep the parrot and large hoop earring?

I'll wager that Blackbeard, to say nothing of the Ancient Mariner, would willing swap a cutlass and twelve-pounder to get that outboard motor on their ship.

The reason we were in Plymouth was to go whale watching. I must say one of the best experiences I have had in my 68 years. I also learned that big and slow does not meat easy to photograph for a first timer. The first whale we saw was a dead humpback that some scientists were watching hoping to tag a great white shark. No sharks feeding while we were there. We then came across three humpbacks gathered in what is called an association. Here area few shots from the trip.

1) The wake from the upper deck while scooting along at 22 knots. You can see a lobster pot to the left. The captain was steering around them.

2) Researchers near a humpback whale carcass. From the size of the bit marks you get a pretty good idea of the size of the sharks.

3) "Thar she blows!"

4) Heading straight at us.

5) Diving under the boat.

6) Squall line.

7) Prepping for a dive.

8) And away we go.

High Falls on the Nipissing River. I can tell you where it is, but you probably can't get there. it's in the middle of Algonquin Park, fly ins aren't allowed, it takes even an experienced young fit tripper a couple days to get there, slogging though rocky shallows and bog and few small lakes That give you a few minutes away from portaging every now and then) and some very rugged long dangerous portages, including the famous "Heart Attack Hill."

It's beside a 1300 meter portage, there are no short cuts.
