While sitting on a stone wall trying to get a photo of an azure butterfly, I see this eastern garder snake poke it's head up from behind a stone. Seems it wanted to travel in my direction but did not expect me to be there.
Then it got a bit brave and decided to check me out. Then I guess it figured that I was not going to eat it so it passed on by me. Usually I see the snakes when I don't have the camera but this time I was lucky. Never did see that butterfly...
