I've been busy with the K1 and trying other lenses with it. I'm not sure if the FA 31mm is suited to Astro but it didn't turn out too bad for a moonlit night.

Tamron 90mm Macro

FA 31mm f1.8

31mm at night/early morning

and the 28-105, it's still hard to get away from this lens

Another of my friend the long tailed skipper***

HD PENTAX-D FA 150-450mm F4.5-5.6ED DC AW ƒ/7.1 450.0 mm 1/1250 iso1000

***Some may notice I dropped the photo frame and embedded signature... I was using FastStone photo resizer to do size reduction, frame and add the signature in "bulk", and it was VERY convenient and fun to use... until I noticed in a side by comparison with simple little old PixResizer app, that FastStone muted the colors a tad, and made my blacks a bit lighter than the original image. It's a bummer, but I'd rather post the better images. If anyone has another app they use for bulk re-sizing, framing and signature that they like better than FastStone and doesn't mess with image quality, I'd love to hear from you!!!
Thanks,
Eric

Sure, now ya tell me. Heh. Yup, that's because I didn't catch what FastStone was doing to my pic's right away. Does your Corel let you automate batches w/framing & sig all at once?
This last one of the skipper should look normal contrast (for me) to you, yes?

Oh...and.... nice to see the Soligor back in your lens rotation lately. Looking good, I like the B&W conversion!

Thanks,
Eric

The first shot is with a Hoya 135mm HMC, and a bit soft at 5.6. It's what I had on when the pesky geese flew right over head and I fumbled to get an an exposure and shot. If I had an FA 135 on it would have been a piece of cake.

1. Yes. You can record a script of a series of commands and you can use it in batches.
2. No. The last one is too bright for me...
2. Thanks. I love it to rotate
