Nice. How are you finding the mikakon?

Hmm.. the lens belongs to someone, briefly try it out.
My short usage review:
it is a heavy lens but at f1.2, images look good. I really need to use Live view to focus with it.

Hope i have one more chance to touch the lens again.

Today I visited a nature site. Wanted to try out something special. K-1 with DA*11-18 and making 2 images with left and right pan using composition mode (= sensor shift, no movement of camera). pp using PTGui to get a small panorama version. It is an extreme but nice sunny day - so quite harsh contrasts to deal with. Here are the results ...

Step 1. Capture of two images, left and right panned compositon mode images made with K-1 • FF mode • DA*11-18 @ 18. Both images show a size of 7360 x 4912 px. Base of the following step.

Step 2. The two images stiched in PTGui resulting in a 7995 x 4936 px color image. This corresponds to a ratio of ~ 16.2 :10. PTGui uses the whole sensor size. So a little bit more pixels in height are created than is shown for usual capture.

Step 3. Conversion to B&W in C1Pro.

Frederic, very cool pic of Mercedes, liked it very much.
I tried to take a picture like yours, but lost the cool effect of fisheye lens.
Thank you Mike ! Your Prototype is very cool !

Nice Fred, the Sigma Art 18-35, it's supposed to be a crop sensor lens, you have it listed here as being shot in FF mode on the K-1, how does it perform overall in FF mode? The review section doesn't really say how well coverage works.
I said that in my review of the lens. Works well from 28mm to 35mm (with some vignetting at 28mm)...

Nice work as usual Frederick, but the license plate is upside down.
Thank you ! I don't know why... If you look precisely you will see that the plate isn't upside down only the name AMG...

The frame is right side up. I bet the kid that was tasked with installing the AMG logo plate wasn't paying attention and placed it on upside down.

Back at it with the camera trap this weekend, using the K1, Rokinon 24mm, Sabre trigger and two remotely triggered Nikon flashes
Striped skunk this time. I still can't time it right with the occasionally visiting bobcat.

I've switched from Aperture to Lightroom. LR has a lot of kick to it, just feeling my way around it. These two are my first tries with it.

Hope you get the bobcat, impressive effort, and a very cute looking skunk!
