Got out for a fly around the neighborhood this morning with a young pilot I used to babysit when I was in college and he was a toddler.
I would have liked some clouds but I'm not complaining!

Wasn't sure if this belonged under "Lonely benches" or "leave alone" but I did see this kid toddling around the park fanning himself with this giant fall leaf, then he planted it proudly in the bench.
The leaf must be tougher than it looks to have survived the abuse and still look fairly pristine.

Here are some other shots from the D-Day 75 display this June. The clouds make a star appearance.

The second one is better, in good part because of the emphasis on the beautiful aqua-blue water. The foliage in the first one is also a tad distracting. Nice to see beautiful work done with the DFA 28-105, bringing out its colors and sharpness.
