Cropping is something I do often - sometimes in 3:2 but also in other ratios. And of course it happens when I correct perspective in post processing using C1Pro‘s keystone correction. Often I try to get it under control while shooting (not always fully possible) and that can result in a lot of foreground. If it’s an interesting and not distracting one - great. In the case of this image I don‘t view it as a problem. As you mention the pattern in the foreground adds something.

The short story I wrote down because I wanted to share this somehow special moment that I‘ll remember a long time I guess. A very short moment of relationship between people. - Thank you very much for your comment!

This morning I spent 2 hours in a local game park, just a few minutes drive from my house.
I posted some pictures of animals in the "300mm lens club".

Here is a shot of a sculpture in that park.
K1 and manual focus Sigma 4.5/500mm



... I didn't know even metal bears can have a "dripping nose"
