Kimono portrait c. 2018, color, DFA* 50/1.4
Lovely all around. I would say the DFA* 1.4 makes an excellent portrait lens at the right distance.

Another snap of the Estuary (shot with FA 43)
The estuary shot is very nice. Makes me want to grab my FA43 & head out.

The pink flower shot is really nice. No one would guess it was flashed.

The moon taken with the 150-450 and jabobby's backyard macro with the same lens shows how versatile it is.

So the revised 10-17 makes nice circular photos. Neat picture.

Fabulous image. So 3D looking. Curious what aperture was used? Some say the 43 looks most 3D between f1.9 - 3.5. But this image looks to have considerably more dof than f3.5 would provide. In any case I'm wanting a 43 now.
Thanks for sharing,

Thanks! Yeah, I definitely love the DFA* for portraits. I have no regrets purchasing it.
