Fall colors

An overcast day good for subtle but true colors with minimal UV rays. Was hoping for a bit of sun spotting the canopy here and there but the clouds would not cooperate...
Best Regards, Bob

It's refreshing to see subtle, true colors. Nature doesn't have to look like an acid party.😊

Very nice rendering of a red rose. The soft red goes nicely with the muted background.

The elk herd reminds me of the heard in the Cataloochie valley of Great Smokey Mountains NP. Had a good time shooting that herd a couple of years ago.

Nice fall scenes, Jaboby. Like the middle one best.

What an unusual fountain. Did you shoot a portrait version to emphasize the vertical post?

Very nice fall shot of a road in the woods. Like the second one best. The branch in the upper left and the tree on the right frame the scene nicely.

Line the birch #1. That one would be fun to develop in Silver efex pro to add detail & structure to the gray sky.

Like the sunset, Rondec. Taking the risk of second guessing your composition, a crop of the left treeline and half the road would put the sun in the lower right hand corner, which IMHO would be a stronger composition.

Yes I did, that's what I created this image from.

Master Craftsman

Originally built in the late 7th century and in 1309, converted to the fortress with major modifications that you can see today.
