Beautiful first photos with the camera. I think the distant ship in the background makes the first picture. Upon closer inspection it looks like a big cargo ship with cranes, but without looking closely it has an old-timey feel. Awesome stuff.

Fireworks

I've never found great success photographing fireworks, but this one seemed to work, among a lot of less interesting shots.

Nice shot. The DA*55 is great lens-I sold mine to help pay for the DFA*50 f1.4.

Hope you have some with blue sky reflected in the water. Can't beat complementary colors for high impact. Like i said, keep 'em coming!
