Nice work in all three, but the first one really tells a story about severe weather. I really like it.

A few shots from my recent trip to Mungo National Park (in NSW Australia). Mungo is part of a ancient lake system... been dry for about 14,000 years.... but still .... Google Maps show it as a blue... because we are optimists down here.

Anyway.... it's a special place.... was popular during the last ice age.... This dry lake contains stone artefacts, burial sites, animal bones and ochre that date the Aboriginal occupation there to 40,000 years plus.....

Such awesome scenery Noel, you have captured it very well.

Love the dunes.

Great job capturing the lovely light.
Thanks. One advantage of the more northern Rocky Mountain NP's is the light is often quite good because of the frequent partly cloudiness.

A few from today. Mixture of lenses; 150-450 for the woodpecker and one grouse, the other grouse was the 55-300, works surprisingly well on the K1. And the Tamron 28-75 for the landscape. The high iso capability of the K1 got me some shots today.
