Wonderful! You've proven that photograph is not a frivolous pursuit. It has a porpoise.
Thank you.

Oh dear what a pun...

A DFA 150-450 shot (at 450)

Mungo NP Sand Dune

This shot is the closest to how I felt when recently visiting Mungo National Park. The dunes are formed by the erosion of the lake area..... exposing 50,000 years of human artefacts, fire places, burial places etc. The patterns in the sand give me the impression of the life threads of those who have walked this place.

Excellent photograph. When I went to Rochester Institute of Technology in the early 1970's the professional photography students had a saying. "If you can't make it good, make it big. If you can't make it big, make it color." That photograph needs neither of those treatments. Well done.

As I've confessed before: 1) two left hands (no offense intended to southpaws); 2) both hands all-thumbs (no offense intended to hitchhikers); 3) incompetent typing skills; 4) unreliable proof-reading skills; 5) creative speller. It's a wonder I ever get the verbiage of a post correct the first time. Come to think, I never do.
