I finally upgraded from K-5 to K-1 II - and the K-1 came in the mail yesterday - the 100th anniversary day, no less!

The weather was miserable today, so this was the best shot from the first day. PNG processed with default settings in Aperture. DFA 28-105, 28mm, f/3.5, 1/13s, ISO 800. I'm really impressed by the sharpness of the DFA 28-105, even fully open!

This is Anghelina, I met her in a park. She was taking pictures of herself with the help of a friend using her phone and since I had my camera with me, I proposed her to let me try also. This was the result, DFA* 50mm, natural light and some minor PP.
Lucky you, having the kit and a nice model posing for youi! Isn’t the 50 a lovely thing to use? It reminds me why they used to come as standard with an SLR.

If you don’t mind me saying, I’d crop out the distracting background above her head in both photos, even if the bokeh is lovely, too.

A very imaginative capture.

(Obviously not London, where the streets were paved in gold. )
