This is the last of my mini series of old pocket watches.

100mm Macro WR with a 3-light setup. Shot through a hole in a reflector to get specular highlights in the clockwork. Background shot in a second frame without the reflector. Pixelshifted.

Tethered with IT2 to Capture One, Processed with DCU5 and final edits with Affinity Photo.

The local jeweler who borrowed me the watch liked it and ordered a print and even a custom made frame to hang it in his workshop.

Superb pocket watch photo. Appreciate the illustrations explaining the set up.

Yes an incredible week, Madeira is a wonderful place to be ! It's a volcano island like Hawaii but inactive now
