Ice is taking over the river now. It's been down to -20 and colder last few nights so ice is advancing over water anywhere there is any open water left.
This is next to the road and someone called the police on me tonight for being on the ice. Which isn't illegal but certainly carries some risk. I'm pretty confident my methods are not reckless and the cops were willing to hear me out and then left.

These are both K-1 & 15-30, 3 frame HDRs merged in Lightroom.

Fantastic images as usual. Takes a special person to brave those temperatures. Didn't know someone could be reported for being on the ice.

Condensation. K-1 with Sigma 180mm 3.5 Macro. Handheld.
Spectacular image. Your hand holding skills are top notch. Not easy with a 180 macro lens.
Love the abstract view.

Thanks. To be honest I still had to put my elbow down on a solid surface to support the lens better. And probably half the credit goes to Pentax engineers for the SR system.

Everyone of them is a winner, and you are selling the lens hard. In truth, you did the work, superb.
Agreed! I'm thinking about buying the FA43 all the time since I finally got my K-1, and this sure didn't help cure the LBA tendencies

Since it's winter, I have to resort to indoor flowers in order to test the DA35 Ltd for flower macros on the K-1 mkII. FF mode with no cropping.
