The even distribution of light did take a bit of dodging and burning, but the lens gets the lion's share of the credit for detail, contrast, and color.

Here's another shot from Patrick's Point SP, this time a 60 second exposure with the FA 43:

Another nice, moody shot. Good to know re the 15-30. Can't get over the weight issue, though, as I'll bring my DFA*50 to shoot landscapes which I can crop to my heart's desire. Although I'll borrow Kerrick's 15-30 for a few shots during our March excursion . I'll use my FA*24 & 15 Ltd for wide shots. I sure envy your CA location. Happy shooting!
