Nice work, there. Isn’t the 43 a joy to use?

Absolutely! I suppose that this should be in "Are we really THAT rare" I'm usually the "odd duck" in the group, but no one argues with the images from the 43 Limited!

Hi Steve

We'll be using our grapes as props this year after all the fires, some are heavily smoke damaged.

Dave

Hi Dave,

That would give the wine a smoky flavor!

As always I enjoy the images you post. The scenic from Madeira really struck me in this set. as an image worth a long appreciative inspection.

Sunrise and sunset yesterday from about the same spot.
This was totally sealed up in ice a couple of weeks ago but some warm days since then have started to open up a couple of spots.
I spotted the water shape of the sunset shot when I was shooting sunrise but the light wasn't good for that direction at the time. Came back for sunset and it was better.
K-1ii & 15-30

Sunrise from the ice looking East

Sunset from the base of the tree in the previous pic looking West

I tried the Interval Composite mode in the sunset photo to simulate a ND filter. I do not have a filter for the 15-30 but wanted long exposure style water. This was 10 or 12 shots using the Average mode.

At about 2" long it is similar to a small pine cone.
Thanks,
