Taken at ISO 400 but pushed by +3EV in post. Utilising the dinky SMC-M 50mm f/1.7. Reasonably cropped.

Went out looking for Northern Lights yesterday with some coworkers, one of whom had never seen them in person yet. Found some

. Not the most spectacular foreground, but still. Nearly froze my hand to the tripod at -25C

Cool capture! Beautiful event & pictures, but brutal conditions. Did the K-1 act differently at these temps?

Not really, I have been working around the north of Sweden (where these pictures were taken) on and off since 2012 and in that time have used a K-30, K-3 II and now the K-1 II in those kind of temperatures for extended periods of time. Extended here being the camera sitting on the tripod in the cold for about an hour or so. None of them showed any signs of trouble. Battery obviously will run out faster but that is about it.
