These are just wonderful!

A Couple of Shots with the new D FA70-210/4

Not many from the new lens, so here's a couple from my exercise walks over the past two days.

From today's activities...

K-1 and Tamron SP AF 300mm 2.8 and Tamron 2x TC

The Jays have eaten all the white paint from the cabin porch rails. We did some research. WHIte paint contains calcium. Birds need calcium especially in the spring for their eggs, but also for brain development in the young.

In an effort to save what paint is left is left I started putting breakfast's crushed egg shells out with the seed.It all gets consumed within a few minutes of putting it out.

We bought a new peanut feeder for the Jays.....

They do love their peanuts.

Put the K-3 on the lens and all you can get is head shots..

We probably have 100 grackles with us right now.

They all come in at once and it's hard for the stragglers to find a place to even land.

I'm always seeing the 200mm club and I always think, I have one of those 200mm lenses, I should use it.
It actually makes a pretty good walk around lens. For 18-135 users, 135 on APS_c is the same as 200 on FF, and I use APS-C at 135 quite bit on my walks, so it's really not much of a sacrifice,

Tia at the start of the walk.

Tripper bailed on me right after this photo. He has his grumpy look on. They can find their way home at any time on the walk. Sometimes one of them just leaves. They are always waiting in the parking lot when we get home.

The ways enthusiastic Jesse.

One of the big landmark snags came down in the last wind... if you've been on the forum for a while you've seen picture of it upright.

Count the rings.

The base still has it's fungus.

Picked up a Zuiko 35mm f2.8 Shift lens recently, and Leitaxed it.. Played around with it last night, while listening to some vinyl.

This morning at Kofa National Wildlife Refuge Queen Canyon.

Second time there in a week for sunrise magic. Guess I'll have to make another trip. Luckily it's only an hour away, and I can practice social distancing at the same time.
