Two shots from yesterday evening. What a beautiful day, if only ...
Well, in order to keep the mood up I decided to use a processing with a little "optimistic" mood

K1 and SMC A 4/24-50. I like this lens very much on FF, it is a good walk-around lens. Of course a little slow and manual focus, but it delivers

SMC K 85/1.8 @1.8

Brush Time... and the indignity of it all.

Replacing my K1 focus screen with a Canon S screen has been a revelation for me with manual focus.... no need to pan and focus and reframe... awesome.

That was a disappointingly low resolution image.

Testing the new focusing screen

Encouraged by posts from other forum members I have replaced my K1's stock screen with the Canon S-type screen.
First impressions are very good! I have not done some "scientific" test of focus accuracy but put it in practical use and shot a few test targets in my garden.

K1 and A* 2.8/200

K1 and Tamron SP AF 90mm F2.8 Di Macro (AF-lens but used in MF mode)
