Great work! I love the third shot.
Thanks Mark.

So far that one has been my best result. As a bonus the ISS is the arc across the image from left to right.

The shot I did last night on the river has a pass by the ISS also, but it doesn't show well.

Comet Neowise at McCormick Lake.

It was partly cloudy and hazy. But, I could see the comet without binoculars.

I took two different approaches with two different lenses on my K-1 using astrotracer. The first photo took about four minutes with the Pentax 35mm macro @ f/2.8 ISO 100 120 sec. The second photo took about 15 minutes to take three usable photos to stack with sequator. Another 15 minutes to take three useless photos. These were with the Lester Dyne 105mm macro @ f/2.8 ISO 200 150sec. I used the long exposure noise reduction in the camera, which made each photo take twice as long.

I saw that line and wondered if that was what it was! Very nicely done.

Neowise at Nautical Twilight

One of the websites I was reading said that Neowise would become visible at the end of nautical twilight, i.e. when the sun was about 12 degrees below the horizon.

There is still a lot of colour in the sky at that time, as my FA43 can testify.

K-1 and DA*55 1.4, I'm taking some 1.4 images, not because I particularly want to, but just because I can.

It's beer o'clock around here, but I got in from building the new garden shed 10 minutes early? What to do?
Take a picture of the beer, sorry, no retakes.

Excellent shot. Nice framing, and water adds to the drama.
Thanks.

A few more from me and the D-FA* 85mm. Slowly learning this one (I think it will take a long time to master).
