Bobby! Nice set, good to see the flutterby's are back in your viewfinder.

Isn't that lens just a handful? I just got a ThinkTank Digital Holster 150 for mine, they were on sale for 20% off... Lets you take a walk with the 150-450 mounted on the K-1, and room for a little prime in the side pocket...it's the bomb digity!

Yeah, I figured she must not have been Hawaiian, because you missed my Don Ho reference on my last post.

Thank you! I am definitely still learning it, wide open shots have their own discipline and I am out of practice. As a piece of kit it has got a lot of potential. My hit rate is slowly going up - it's nice to feel challenged at times as well.

Love those, especially the second shot with the 28-105.

The National Arboretum, Westonbirt

A short series from my FA*24 and K-1. I find manual defringing is essential for this lens, but I steer well clear of the Auto Colour feature in Photoshop.

K-1 + a SMC A 100/2.8 Macro ... I am testing this A lens that I got as a "junk" acquisition. It was partially locked up and someone had already opened it, so the "A" button/knob was missing, along with other bits. I repaired the block focus linkage/travel and de-clicked the aperture ring to make it operable. Here, probably wide open then at about f/2.8 ...

Edit - PS: That's my middle daughter, Marianne, with my Kr plus a DA 35/2.4

I finally had a night when the sky was clear enough to get a shot of Comet Neowise.
