Very nice! How far away did you have to be?
Thanks.

Half body shots probably needs 8-10m away and full body shots much further (probably 30-40m).
Ok, this is what surprised me.
Despite this, there was still reasonable communication between me and the subjects. (and I had a mask on)

The other thing would be that I'd do more portrait orientation shots to close up that working distance.

That is a great portrait.

In the ancient days of my Spotmatic II my "normal" lens was a Tamron Adaptamatic 300 mm f5.6. I took that lens everywhere. I really liked how it makes the subject pop out from the background. The 300mm lens is as great for people as it is for wildlife. In those days my bag had a 28mm,a 55mm, a 135mm and a 300mm lens in it. I zoomed with my feet if possible.

Cemetery where I have a lot of relatives. K1 + FA 20 mm f/2.8 @ f/8 + CPL.

I happened to notice the yellow leaves in the parochial cemetery. I put a CPL over my FA 20 mm f/2.8 and here is the result.

At the last day of September I shot this one in a part of the woods near my home place, just beside some old tumuli (grave hills) dating from the 'Hallstatt' time (about 800 b.C.). It is one part of the forest that didn't suffer from the last (dry) summers that much. Other parts are a pain to walk through and see all the devastation, but that's another story ...

Great shot. How do you get your skies to come out so blue? or bleu?
