2 tinkers trotting towards you

Ok, you made me learn something...

I had to look up Tinkers because I knew they had to have some Clydesdale in them somewhere but looked too small. OK, so the Stable guide says they are bread from 3 breeds... Dales Ponys, Clydesdales and the Shire horse.

Very interesting horse, and nice picture. Thanks for sharing.

Great images, very evocative of the season.

You will also note that cinematographers get a pass somehow when it comes to applying "filters" either electronic or physical to get these same effects of old lenses... I think anything can be over-used, but if tastefully done and for the right occasion, I do like the effects of some older glass. Some older Vivitar glass I had long ago has a distinct red shift and was lousy for color work but made B&W film really pop! (I "think it was one of the f3.8 lenses, can't remember, many years ago...)

Fun stuff.
Eric
I can also appreciate vintage glass. Cinematographers however have largely lost the plot. Far to many films have excessively graded and colour coordinated looks. Its really a pet peeve of mine.

Orange teal should be outlawed.

I caught this She Tree doing an exotic dance as part of an ancient ceremony to entice the water gods into a mating ceremony..... off course.... I had been camping at the Flinders Ranges by myself for over a week so maybe I was projecting.....

FA77 at iso 4,000 because I didn't have a tripod.... couldn't do a long exposure because of the dancing tree.

FWIW... Lightroom to DXO Photolab 4 with their new prime noise thing.... back to lightroom for some adjustments.... then out to piccure to clean up a bit more noise.... back to lightroom for some local adjustments.

A lightroom crop... no noise reduction applied

As I commented before on an image similar to the first one (or was it the first one x-posted?), there should be elves and fairies flitting through those woods. Magical.
