Nice work there, Norbert. Getting the fade into mist just right is a trick I struggle with.
Thanks for your kind comments!

This is Skagsanden Beach, Lofoten in northern Norway. As I worked on this photograph, I felt it was better in B&W which added to the effects of the ND filter used for the ethereal feel I was after. I may play with this one more to find a better balance of the misty look and brightness. The photograph was taken with a Pentax K1 DSLR with a Pentax HD DFA 15-30mm ED SDM AW Lens at F16, 80s, 0EV, ISO 100, 30mm and Lee 6-Stop ND Filter.

K-1 | DFA28-105 @ 48 | slightly cropped for better composition

Capture: ISO100, f/11, 30s using 10stop 100mm plus PLC. Prior to the image shot I made an opal glass shot to record general brightness distribution for LCC (Lens Color Cast) application. In Catpure One Pro created an LCC profile from the "opal shot" and applied it to the 30s shot to get rid of any vignetting. Also Black & White conversion in Capture One Pro.

I am new to Pentax with a K1. I have several Leica R lenses that I adapt to Olympus and am considering going the Leitax route. Do you like the way the R glass works with the K1?
From a rendering point of view they are great. From a handling perspective they are not quite as great. Not being A lenses you lose light in the viewfinder if you stop down. Or you have to focus wide open and then stop down. Those are not deal breakers but they add overhead to deal with.
But if you know what you are getting into they are fine lenses with nice damp focus rings. The rendering is wonderful. Colors run to the cool side and pretty vibrant. Bokeh is generally smooth and pleasant.
