He is wonderful! No bothering with porpoise leaps the way our first Shelties navigated deeper snow. That robust dog tackles a walk through the snow as if it weren't there.

Thanks! He's great! We don't get much snow here, so I wasn't sure how he'd react, but he loves it. He got out there and ran around, tried to eat it, rolled in it. He had a blast.

He's really not all that much taller than a Sheltie, but he's 40+ pounds and doesn't really leap for anything. Snow, doors, our other bulldog, my wife, me... If he wants to go somewhere, he just plows his way. If the snow had been deeper, he probably would've just tunneled his way through.

Interesting picture!
Why did you choose that set of exposure parameters?

Getting out the K-1 and DFA 28-105.
One of the plants we got for the kitchen table. We didn't get it for Valentines day but that is the only time of year we get these kinds of plants locally.

That is precisely the behavior that image of your dog projects. Shelties are ballet dancers - bulldogs are line backers. But he definitely looks like a fun-loving creature.

We have similar orchids all year, they return with new flowers if you treat them well!

Thanks! Two reasons: First, I wanted to test the FF capability of the DA70 wide open, and second, I thought it might help the houses stand out from the background hills if the hills were slightly OOF.
