Actually a few people tried to start a thread like that for the K1. It was squashed and rightfully so. What is funny is that most of the first photos about the camera were photos of the camera and not by the camera.

Looks like the US are getting theirs this coming week. Lucky them. Now just for CRK to have their party and we'll be away.

(I acknowledge all the tragedy happening in the world, but can't bring myself to give CRK a pass on this one)

I received this email from CRK regarding my order:- "Good Afternoon, Please note we have received an update in relation to the ETA of the K-1 into Melbourne and that is approx. 10 May." Looks like two more weeks to keep cleaning my lenses.

You've waited how long is it - 15 years for a FF Pentax? Surely another week or so isn't the end of the world

The thread title did say "Post your K-1 pictures", right? Nobody said anything about actually taking pictures with the K-1. I thought they wanted pictures of the K-1....................................

He sounded pretty keen. Unfortunately, perhaps, the reviewer seems to have not picked up that the IBIS system isn't used for video stabilisation, but he conversely recognised that video wasn't its prime strength. Can't do any harm to the promotion cause, though.
