I assume the invoice date will be when it ships..... so one has 60 days from then, not now, to claim back up to $200 if going overseas (with a partner)

I just hope the recent drop in CRK's price will reflect in what I was quoted verbally when I pre-ordered in person yesterday at a local B&M....

Hmm it would seems that CRK has responded, I might just go to my local B&M camera store this weekend and see what sort of price they can work out for me. I am hoping to get some info on the body+grip kit option beforehand though.

If you pre-ordered at the place I suggested, they should reflect the price. I'll speak to the store manager tomorrow (who I know quite well too) - I will ask about this myself.

Ok, well I am now officially a pre-orderer of the K-1!

I just called the manager at Kirks in Ringwood and he is going to get one in for me and match the CRK price. Heads up for anyone else in the area, he said they will order 3 or 4 and see how they go.
They are good supporters of Pentax, so I urge anyone in the outer east of Melbourne to give them a call if the K-1 is on the purchase list. We need to help support the small retailers in the supply chain
