It works; I'm using it since late April on my K-1. But it's no fun when wearing glasses, since the entrance pupil is rather small, so you'd better get your eye closer to the eyecup.

But when wearing contacts, it's fine.

Yes I agree. But what about Tenpa 1.22x?

I've tried o-me 53 on K-1, but did not like it, and left it on K5iis. Although it did not obstruct the view much, just corners, somehow it made VF a bit darker.

I finally bought it and I shall not take it off. I cannot imagine living without it with my Leica-R lenses for manual focus... I definitivly adopted it, but not for eyeglasses wearers.

Hoodman loupe with LV works much better for me with MF lenses. Just need either to buy one with the bracket/plate, or make one for the loupe I already have.
The only drawback is camera battery life, therefore I never go out shooting in LV without the second battery.

It does darken it, but it's so much better for manual focusing. I kept it up.

Pretty much essential for manual focus with fast lenses.

Tried it as well (I don't wear glasses when shooting). Yes, it cuts the corners a bit, not so different from when I've been using it on the K-5 IIs. Still not sure if I should take it or give it away. Any suggestions?

Does it help you to focus? If so, keep it, otherwise throw it in a letter and send it to me...

It was working with my film *its with all digital from itsDs to k5.
So will it work with K-1?
It is listed as an accessory in the K-1 operator's manual (and in selected promotional material). That goes for the viewfinder cover-M and the diopter correction-M. The viewfinder frame is basically unchanged since the M series bodies.
