Which lenses you're going to test on K-1 first?
I will likely sample these lenses first on my K-1, in this order, roughly

SMC Pentax-FA*24, auto-focus
Tamron 63B 180mm, manual focus
SMC Pentax-FA*80-200, auto-focus
Tamron 60B 300mm, manual focus
SMC Pentax(K) 135-600, manual focus
SMC Pentax-FA*28-70, auto-focus
Vivitar S1 28-105, manual focus
Tokina ATX-Pro 20-35mm, auto-focus
SMC Pentax(K) 28/2.0, manual focus

Today I took the Tamron 63B 180mm out to shutter bug at a local Japanese Garden.
This was the first time I shot with the 63B since I bought it and had it CLA'd (thanks dcshooter !!).
The view though my Pentax K2 viewfinder was very bright, clear and sharp.
I hope the view through the K-1 Viewfinder is just as sweet.

Can you confirm 1:1 mode?
I didn't find one to test now. Didn't have as much time as i hoped this time. BUT i only had V. 0.38, so not all features are in place and/or works 100%. If i understood correctly, there will be one on V1.0..but will get one soon, so wont confirm before that

Humm, that's a good question... probably the first to try will be the first that gets in front my eyes when I receive the camera
I've tried them all already on A7R so I generally know what to expect...
I would be curious to know as well what's the performance of 12-24 + TC. I did think of trying this particular combination when I temorarily had the TC but actually might be pretty interesting option if it works well. The 12-24 on its own i find is fully FF only at 18mm and quite useable at 18-24 on some apertures or with very little cropping.

God i have so many lenses i want to try on FF!
First i'll try the Helios 85 1.5, i already love the swirly bokeh on APS-C, i am excited to see it on FF!
Secondly i'll try out my M 28 3.5, my K 35 3.5 (which should be really sharp!) and my M 50 1.4. I wonder how well my K 135 2.5 will perform on FF.

Great! (offtop) What copy do you have, newest (made in Russia) or classic old (made in USSR)?

Interesting , many were complaining that DPR tested the K-1 with a very old lenses and many of you will do the same!!! Could DPR was right that Pentaxian will do that

DA* 60-250mm

it seems from some videos I've seen that the DA* 60-250mm will provide an excellent 24Mp square crop on the new Pentax F-1. As square is one of my favorite formats, this should be a sweet combination. Here's hoping that Pentax offers square crop in the future via a firmware upgrade.

IIRC it was more so they judged all legacy glass by a very poor representation in the M 50mm f/2 which (I think) originally was a kit lens.

First my Pentax-F 50mm f/1.7
Asahi 55mm f/1.8
Sigma 50-500mm f/4.5-6.4 The Bigma
Vivitar Series 1 85mm f/1.4
Then all of my Vivitar Chrome Nose collection.

The first lens on my K1 will be my Sigma 12-24 EX DG (full frame) which works really well on my MZ-S. Next up? D-FA 100mm macro. Then wing it. Bunch of old SMC Takumars are going to wind up there too.

I'll go with:

A 15mm f3.5
A 50mm f1.4

Then all the rest, DAs, FAs to see how they work in the crop and full mode.

I'll probably start with the 43. The 31 has been my fast normal for the past year or so... It will be bittersweet transferring that role to (presumably) the 43. I look forward to the great reduction in lens size, but have come to love the 31 on my K-5II. We shall see.

Also, count me surprised that the DA40/2.8 was not listed by Ricoh as having full frame coverage. I've certainly been satisfied with it on my ZX-7, but I don't shoot 135 film for ultimate IQ.
