FB doesn't always make awesome images look great. I am looking forward to seeing what our community starts to do with this camera. Especially when we see it used with some of the fine Pentax Glass!

Everyone can do everything... but, they don't. You have to wonder why...

No one is saying "here is one of my images and it's better?"

Until you show me an image I don't care what the you say you can do.

I like the picture, it wouldn't be one of my best, but, he's had the camera for a very short time. It probably isn't one of his best.

Besides if you look in one of the my "D750 makes you K-3 look like doo doo" threads you'll see some really bad images that I mercifully assume are the work of someone who has a different and more garish PP style than I do, and who likes blacked out shadow detail... it's possible this guy just like his images that way.

You can make (and articulate) assumptions about what you would have done, but long story short, you weren't there. Any Tom, Dick or Harry can say the same thing.

I try and avoid saying things any Tom , Dock or Harry might say. I think it cheapens my brand.

This is definitely true.

#biz-engineer is correct, though: it is a fine photo, but as presented to us it could have been made with any camera.
Yes, with a D810 or K10D. In capable hands, with good PP, and then (robotically) resized to a web size, it is difficult to tell apart cameras. Fact is, there are actually few niches where some DSLRs have a significant advantage over other modern DSLRs. And ironically, its often not even the camera itself, but rather the flash system built around it, the lenses you can use on it, its burst mode and write speed..
But can anyone come up with a way that Ricoh can show, with a photo on Facebook, in what ways a K-3II is different from a K-7? Or K-1 from a K-3?

I wouldn't be. It's just not a good image.
True, but my point was the he likely wouldn't have been impressed with ANY image taken with a Pentax.
