K-1 preorder from Adorama, back order message.

After per-ordering K-1 from Adorama I received one message with order confirmation:

"

Your order has been placed and will be processed as soon as possible.
Once your package has shipped, we'll send you a confirmation email with a tracking number.
Your credit card will not be charged until the order has shipped".

Then I received back ordering message:
"

Unfortunately, one or more of the items in your order (different order number (???), but for K-1) is not in stock, see details below..."

They are closed today, I will call them of course. Did someone who pre ordered received two messages like I did?

Perhaps it how their system for pre-ordering works.

One confirmation number for the order, and another for back order.

Since the item is not available for shipping but is on order from the manufacturer your order is for all intends and purposes back-ordered.

If it was in stock you wouldn't have to pre-order it,

that would be pretty awesome but I read today something about mid April (still). So I think this is not a real offer. As aleonx3 stated this could possibly be a ambassadors model... But... hey I am totally open for a world wide launch in March, Ricoh!!!

More likely there will be a delay in shipping, until they receive the camera. Possibly gray market from Japan where it is likely to be released first.
