I don't understand Japanese, but the images are pretty good!

I would be ashamed of these photos if they were mine! Can't they find any better than these?

Gosman, you forgot the smiley. Finally some photos that show the K-1's abilities.

When it's released and you buy it, looking forward to your shots, Gosman!

After having seen the pictures I understand why there's a smiley in your comment, after "the images are pretty good".

What am I missing here?? How can anyone judge the IQ of the K-1 from such tiny pictures!?

You cannot as they don't want you to from a preproduction model.

I keep thinking about it, and maybe I got it. This gallery isn't meant to be a demonstration of K-1's capabilities. It's just that a guy in Japan went for a stroll in winter and he happened to have a K-1 with him to document it. He may as well have had a cell phone and the results would be the same, but he had a K-1 and he posted the pictures online. And I don't mean to sound arrogant, seriously - I don't have too many photos to boast about myself. But that's the impression that I get from those photos. The most mysterious one (as to the purpose) for me is this one:

I think its just an artistic evidence of K-1 WR capabilities, as he comments that it was -20 Celsius and snowing... Not many cameras could operate under such conditions...

Not the best. I'm sure better ones will follow. A lot has to do with both the photog and the subject. Not much color in snow scenes.
