Departure Scan from DFW airport at 8:08 PM May 8. Air or Ground? Arrival scan will tell. About 24 hours away from delivery.  It appears that I will be the Last person in the United States to receive a K-1 from Ricoh's initial shipment. Gosh Thanks UPS. Can't tell you how much I appreciate you leaving my camera sitting at the airport for a little over 63 hours given the theoretical 72 hour delivery time. Out for delivery as of 7:00 AM. In another 13 hours I will get notice that they attempted to deliver the package but I wasn't home. Which of course will not be true. But hey - what are you going to do. Somebody has to be last. Looks like it will be me. I have so enjoyed the stories of people walking out of Brick and Mortar stores with K-1s - or people ordering theirs on the 1st of May and already receiving it while UPS deliberately extended my delay by sitting on my package in Dallas for 63 hours. Good show that. Way to go above and beyond the call of duty. | |
