Good luck to you, hope you'll get a big enough batch to fulfill your orders. The two places I know of in Germany couldn't fulfill all pre-orders (incl. mine) from the initial shipment, and that's referring to already paid for cameras, not mere reservations. But more seem to be on their way already and I'm happy to see a very successful launch.

Seems like B&H and Adorama might have enough sway over the American market where they can dictate a release that is after their holidays, unless anybody has received one from Amazon. As the largest B&M dealers in the country, they would not want to be beaten to the market by anybody else.

Worry not, you'll all be happily shooting next week.

I just talked to my camera dealer here and he said 3 K-1s were shipped on the 28th direct from the factory for delivery on Tuesday.

Just came back from Lozeau in Mtl...my battery is charging !!! And it wasn't even a pre-order, i just called them this morning, they had some in stock, reserved and bingo, I will be trying lenses and posting results later today, looking agonizingly to the led on the charger
