Not so much here, this is pickup country
But on the west side of town they are little more popular. They have a Tesla store in the mall there and I dropped my card into the fishbowl for a "drive a Tesla for a day" drawing. Off course once they did the credit check I did not get picked
And yes, charging stations are popping up all over. Even from where I live using electric would not be a problem for routine back and forth to work/groceries/shopping.

I think Telsa claims 20 minutes with their high speed charger. Not sure if that is to full or some percentage though. They are putting the chargers at restaurants and grocery stores and hotels, places where 20 minutes is not a big problem. The on board computer has a nice app that locates chargers and gives directions as well as distance.
I was bored while my wife shopped at the mall
Got the whole lecture three times. Very cute girl doing the lecture by the way, and she really, really knows all about Tesla
Oh, and they are using Tesla's as Taxis now, saw several of them the last time I went to the airport. Which sounds weird at first but since there is virtually no maintenance it just might pencil out despite the high initial cost.
