K-1 preorder at B&H.

I ordered a K-1 and the Limited 43 and 77 lenses on Feb. 25 at B&H. Over the weekend I requested that B&H cancel the order for the lenses; I now have the Limited Trio on hand, purchased used from a Pentax Forum member. The Reply e-mail including the K-1 'subtitle' text is now "New Item, Available for pre-order 04/29/16". Interesting, eh?

Looks to me as if we won't be seeing cameras until at least early May. Good thing I'll have new Atma-Sphere poweramps to play with. Here are pics of my former pair.

The US shipping date is 4/25, whether or not B&H will get stock by then is a different matter.

B&H told me that they will have the camera in stock around 4/21.

Talked to a B&H rep yesterday, and I got the same information. The first batch K-1 will arrive on/around 4/21.

I ordered on 2/19 from B&H and was just told this via live chat about an hour ago:

"Grayer Z : I have looked into this for you and currently your order is estimated to arrive at our warehouse by early May. As soon as we receive it in stock we will ship your order to you, and e-mail you with the tracking information. I apologize for this delay and any inconvenience it may have caused you."

Had a chat with BH. Even though I placed my order March 9th, he said my K1 would go out 1st week of May.
