I took the new 24-70 and shot the package, the cam and lense came in - just to here if everything is working fine and hear the sound of the cam <3

My first real pictures will be later today, also with the 24-70 and my 90 Tamron Macro (if it won´t start raining...)

No, I think you got it right.

Tripod or hand-held? Either way, impressive.

This is VERY good news.

Since I appear to be the only person who currently owns this lens -

CPC Phase 2 24/2.8

And that's my name in the copyright as the only person to contribute a picture of that lens, it seems epic that the two "Unicorns" are reunited, as they can both finally exist in the same space and time continuum.

A Pentax dSLR FF camera and my CPC 24mm.

Went out with a local group to shoot a model with the FA* 85. I'll post some pics up later.
Also tried the FA 77 Ltd, which was also a great match. My Sigma 70-200 HSM II has issues on the current firmware though.

FA 35mm f2. Street outside the railway station in Hässleholm. Why?

Well, after getting the text message from my retailer in Lund, 80 kms away, that it was time to jump in the car to pick up my K-1, I decided that it was more convenient to park the car and go with commuter train to Lund.
I put a charged battery and a small convenient lens, which happended to be the Fa 35mm, in my pocket and headed to town.
On the train back I was fully occupied unboxing and making the basic settings like language, time etc. As i came out from the station I realized I hadn't even looked through the viewfinder yet, and so I took a picture of the street. Not stuff for a Hollywood feature movie.
At home I did the first "real" try, and used my A 15mm f3.5 for the very first time.

The first lens I put on the K-1 is my old Pentax A 20mm F2.8, as i intended to, an excellent lens.
The second one was a Pentax D-FA 28-105mm (lent to me for the afternoon), it is really a good lens.

I also tested the following lenses: Pentax FA 50mm F1.4, Pentax DA* 300mm, Pentax FA 77mm ltd, Pentax D-FA 15-30mm F2.8 (lent to me for the afternoon), Tamron SP 90mm macro Di, Tokina 28-70mm F2.8, Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 II Ex HSM Macro DG (not suitable with K-1).
All of them but the Sigma are excellent. The problem regarding the Sigma is electronic incompatibility, it freezes the K-1.

Hello,

the first lens used was indeed the new DFA15-30.
Great lens. It's a monster but it makes monstous pictures.

K28/2. Glazed pitcher full of spring flowers. *

* IMG_0001 returned 'No Card In Camera'. The first shot that I actually had all the settings correct was number 9.

Picked up my new K-1 body last night at the local UPS distribution center. Thought about that 'first picture' and decided that since the K-1 represents coming full circle from my first Pentax purchased in 1976, that I should use the lens that came with that body, (I still have that MX, but don't use it anymore). So, my first three shots with the K-1 was with my ol' M50/1.7 lens. Subject wasn't anything worth talking about.

Then, I went out on the balcony and shot a bunch of exposures with various lenses, just to try them out. Some DA lenses to see how bad the vignetting would be and my Sigma twins because there is a current thread about the auto-focus 'bricking' the K-1, (doesn't on my body). Got so used to wide-angle on my crop bodies that I'm now thinking of how to fulfill that need on the FF body.
