FA31mm Limited. Photo of the east wing of the house and gardens. Imported it and thought, WOW! this is good. Look at the DR! Then realised I'd shot in JPEG!

Did exactly the same thing!

I started with the FA*28-70, guessing that it would be one of the most used lenses on that camera...

Missed focus, eyes closed, bad shot, but still that shot felt great!

Jupiter 9 and my cat and then my mate.
Followed by my Industar 50-2, shot from balcony, then my Flektogon 20/4, my cat and shot of balcony (man, it's wide! ), then my Meyer Görlitz Orestegor 300/4, shot from balcony and finally my helios 44-K4, also shot from the balcony and a portrait of my mate.
Then the light failed us. So I'll carry on tomorrow

Jupiter 9 pic (0003, it's way nicer than 0001 but shot during the same 10s )

As I planned, my first shot was taken of my old elementary school with my 12-24mm f4.5- f5.6 EX DG Sigma at 12mm. I wanted that true ultra wide angle shot I bought that lens for in the first place. The light was failing by the time I got my camera - so the shot was OK, but nothing to write home about.

LOLOL isn't this why it goes up to ISO 200,000?

(Only joking; I know the high-ISO ceiling on any DSLR is nothing to write home about. I'm pretty sure I can count the number of times I've shot at 51,200 on my K-5 without taking both socks off.)

Okay, so if JPEG is that good, what must the raw be like! Holy heck!

I actually quite forgot it's useable at higher ISO than the K-50

I can't even say that it would have been too dark to change lenses, it's all a set-up!

Useability at high ISO does of course depend on the purpose. I can shoot an image at 51,200 which, if I did it carefully enough, would be "useable" on Facebook - I can almost literally turn night into day in my back garden - but on Flickr it would very quickly start looking like the earliest efforts at 400 ASA colour film on a half-frame compact. Then again, there are legitimate excuses which can be made for that - #lomography

FA 50mm F1.4 and a picture of a red ruler to check autofocus setting. It needed a +3 adjustment.

I slapped on a Pentax-fa 35 f2.0 that I had been using on a k200d as a "normal" lens and wow, it is back to what it was made for! SWEET!

40mm XS, shot of my daughter at the dining room table. SOOC jpeg looked great.

And no visible vignetting. That's a neat little lens...

DA40 limited. A picture of my living room, nothing fancy. But I mainly was curious about the shutter noise and the high ISO.

FA31 and a test shot of my friend's neighbourhood. I had gone over to collect the camera from him after he arrived back in Singapore from Vietnam.
