Wait, of the FF cameras they compare to the K-1 only the Sony has 4K video? I thought Pentax was supposed to be so way behind the competition (Canon/Nikon).

When the dust has settled, it seems the 4K FUD fanboys have a lot to answer for.

(I'm not panning 4K; the idea of a video mode whose stills are as good as or better than hi-res shots from an *istDL is a pleasant one. No, I'm panning the twits who whined and complained because it wasn't featured on a camera they knew very well was going to be optimised for stills photography.)

Yeah, they reviewed all 3 cameras and were fair. However, they never reviewed the k-3II but made a review of its competitors like the d7200. I hope they'll review the k-1 soon.

The D7200 looks like a more substantial upgrade of the D7100 (e.g. new sensor) than the K3 II of the K3. At the same time Pentax has a much smaller market share, thus user base, thus readership than the big players.

We, as Pentax users, don't have a constitutional right to have our favourite gear reviewed by them. They decide how to allocate their time and resources, and it only makes sense for them to prioritise gear that will receive a larger number of views over the one that receives much less.

I am just happy that they keep reviewing every major Pentax camera. I only hope they will also start reviewing Pentax lenses again, but to be honest they review very few lenses in general.
