Tap the play button and then turn the backside dial two steps left.

You now see the folders that are on the card and the amount of photos is at the bottom right of the display.

Thank you for the workaround.

I've been on a holiday phototrip, and I kept all pictures on the 128 GB SanDisk Extreme 90 mB/s Card, roundabout 16 month old, normally I copy to a laptop at the evening an formatting the card in the camera - The last step I didn't do this time. And I got filled up until the camera said card full- there are 88.342.538 Bytes of 127 831 375 872 Bytes still free, On the card are seven GPS-logs with 5673 290 Bytes and 2681 pictures with 127 561 078 853 Bytes in 11 directories. this means an average of 47 579 664 Bytes per picture, most of them with an ISO of 250. The last session on the German ZMF with 14319 pictures and 679 216 908 138 bytes in high ISO typically iso 4000 has an average of 48038540 Bytes

I didn't quite catch what you are saying. Does the camera prevent you from taking more pictures even if there still is free space on the SD card? Or?

Yes the camera says, card is full and you have to change manually to the other card. (There is space for 1.4 pictures with the ricoh estimate) But this is okay. It is better to loose some space, than to loose a picture, because It can't be written.

This wasn't a complaint. it was simple status information about filling up big card and the resulting number of pictures. I have 2681 real pictures taken, the fresh formatted empty card shows 1612 pictures.

Ah, OK. It was only 88 MB left on your card.

Missing Feature/Bug in all Pentax DSLR

Hello

With all Pentax Camera you are able to adjust 20 lenses for AF.

Compared with Canon it is not showing for which Lens the correction in Menu 25 is made. Canon show the Mounted Lens (type/model)

Further I recognized a bug. I own 3 pcs DA* 16-50 lenses. When I made a correction in Menu 25) for one of them this is also valid for the other 2 :-( This means the correction is made for the generic type of lenses and not the individual marked with e.g. Serial of the Lens.

Maybe Pentax can fix this in a future release of the Firmware (not only for the K-1)

Gérard

I don't think that's a bug.

This behaviour -- to store correction values for a lens model, as opposed to a lens copy -- is not ideal, but as it has always been that way, I believe the behaviour is by design and not a caused by a bug. It may not even be possible to read out copy-specific data (e.g., the serial number).
