Where is the K-1 assembled?

Philippines.
I am sure someone with a K-1 will confirm what the label on the bottom of the camera says.

Pentax K1 with the Samyang 14/2.8

Sunrise from today.
I woke late and missed the better part of the colors, but there was a hint left by the time I shot.

The file from the K1 is certainly more malleable than my A7K (Kolari modded).



I also don't know what sauce they used for the sensor/stack.
Even when its a 36mp sensor, its got better edges for this same lens than my A7K.

I am so thrilled at what I have been seeing so far with regards to the images produced by everyday consumers. I had every intention of getting a K-1 but was playing the "wait a bit and see how things look" mode...probably going to accelerate my acquisition a bit. Thanks for linking to the Singapore site, there are some great examples over there that got me excited to work with the 3 princesses the way they were meant to be. Also seeing your Parliament shot with the Samyang 14/2.8 made the decision easy to add this lens for my UWA kicks!
