Originally posted by Gimbal Ok, a quick comparison with Nikon 810 at really high iso shows that the K-1 is the clear winner overall in details, the Nikon seems to do some quite heavy noise reduction that smears things out.
Except in the red cloth where there K-1 seems to be slightly colorblind and loses all texture long before the Nikon. (unless it’s the crappy monitor I’m viewing this on right now that is fooling me).
Im viewing this on a 5K Retina iMac. Pixel peeping I think the D810 has a clear advantage at ISO 100 but things do start to even up as you go up the ISOs.
Misc notes from viewing pics at ISO 100
- K-1 easily outdoes the Canon 6D, Mark III, K-3.
- The Canon 5DS5 and 5DS out does the K1 and D810 at ISO 100.
- 645Z is the clear champ in a pixel peeping at low ISOs(not surprising)
I don't know all the specifics to their testing(lens, jpegs...etc). Just reporting what I am seeing
