If I understand correctly you want a comparison of jpegs in L, M, S, and XS. These are resized to 1024 pixels on the long edge.

yes you got it!
But to compare it with a k3/k5 the files need to be in Full Resolution and may be the same picture shot with one of the APS-Cs to compare. In forum size they all look the same ;-)
And I am interested in high ISO to compare the noise in size and pattern.
Thanks for this first try! Maybe you want to do this test. The reason is to see if there is a advantage for the K-1 if you shoot don't want to shoot with full 36MP and how Ricoh solved the noise pattern in the L, M, S, and XS Mode.
K-1 produces very good noise pattern, but I do not always need 36MP often 24MP or 15MP would be more than enough.
