This is such a tease to those who havent begin living their A.K-1 (after K-1) lives.Im still stuck here with nothing but a Nikon monitoring the shipment tracking while others are showing off their wonderful K-1's with no regard for the feelings for those less fortunate.

Surely there is a support group, eh?

I want to marry that silver A50.

(Just kidding, Honey, if you've picked up my phone!).

Polygamy is permissible in some cultures. Just look at Kerrowdown, with all his female companions.

Except he's a sniper with a 135mm lens ... there are hundreds of them who don't realise they're now in his harem! ☺

I was actually thinking of the ones in his lens bag, but now you mention it, he's actually cross-culturally polyamorous!

Damnit! I was determined not to be an early adopter with the K-1, but you lot are showing most of the FA and A kit I've been amassing for the past 10 years or so, with your K-1s. Who said displayed goods are never wanted? (Sticking with the thread theme, there, for those not familiar with the context of that old saying)
After my experience pre-ordering the K-01 I was determined never again to early-adopt a camera. Then I got a tax windfall and pre-ordered late. But I happened across a K-1 on the shelf at my local B&M Dealer and lust overcame conviction.

I have 9 clicks with K28/2 (the first 8 were misspent getting the settings right).

Oh. My. God.

Clearly, it was fate. I walk slowly past the only downtown camera store, here, in the hope there's not going to be a K-1 in the window.

So far, visual titillation has not been put in my way…

So far I like what I see. The New King looks very good with all this Legacy Glass, as if it was made for it.

I eagerly await the moment that I can finally embrace this awesome tool, and try to milk my best from it.

Soon.

Soon.

It's striking how compact the K-1 appears in that image, particularly standing alongside lenses that are compact in themselves.

It's not big. It's very heavy, though.

Yeah I noticed the additional weight today... I can go all day with K-3 on my sling strap and never really notice it... After some time today with K-1 attached to the strap I was thinking about it, and considering switching shoulders...

The K-1 is easily ten times better than the K-01. Now the naming makes sense: they meant K-0.1
