You might try Ricoh direct. Apparently they shipped all their pre-orders and a couple people that ordered earlier this week said it was shipped the same day they ordered.

One major outlet in the UK said that actual deliveries could be up to three weeks after start of shipping for sales to new (non pre-order) customers. Pre-ordered K1s would probably be available a bit earlier. You will just have to be patient or hope that you are lucky with your chosen supplier.

Incidentally, if you have a chance, it is well worth handling it before purchase. It is a beautiful camera, very like an oversized K3ll but noticeably heavier, especially when paired with full frame zooms. With lighter weight primes think K5s and K3s with the 18-135mm or something similar and marginally heavier.

DO NOT ORDER... Online states SHIPPING but on completion of check out It invoices as PRE-ORDER. Plus you pay $1799 + 11.98 shipping. I was willing to accept that until I got my online invoice... result Canceled now I have to wait till they clear my credit card pre authorization to order elsewhere.

I would expect Adorama to be the first to have the K-1 "fully in stock", since they seem to have fulfilled all pre-orders. They had 5 in stock (all sold now) shortly after pre-orders went out.

B&H usually gets larger shipments, but based on our giveaway stats there are at least 50 more pre-orders that haven't been processed.

If you're lucky some seller on Amazon might also have a few units.

Henry's in Toronto is listing them as in stock in Toronto and Scarborough stores.

My local camera store has the K-1 in stock and will ship. Ace Photo is a great local store and carry a lot of Pentax gear. Just picked up the DFA 70-200 from there. Ace Photo Camera Store

The Camera Cottage (406-671-6640) has been getting some K-1s delivered to the store. He's been shipping them to customers.
