Interesting results on DPreview

Hey friends,

as I know you this following statement has already been posted somewhere, but anyways... this made a smile on my face today
From our friends from DPreview comes:

QuoteQuote:
In conclusion, the K-1 gives one of the best Raw dynamic range results we've ever seen, when shooting in single shot mode and absolutely outstanding results in circumstances where you can use the pixel shift mode.
(emphasis added)

POW! Now this is something, isn't it
These guys had some serious amount of cameras in their hands...

QuoteQuote:
The multiple sampling of the same scene effectively gives a 2EV dynamic range boost, meaning it out-performs both the D810 and the 645Z by a comfortable margin. Less noise (though multiple captures) and multiple 14-bit values at every pixel mean it can give outstanding levels of DR wherever you can use the Pixel Shift mode.

The results published in DP review are really outstanding, the dynamic range of K1 blows cameras worth 2-3 folds in price. GOOD JOB RICOH/PENTAX !!!!!
And finally I see more advertising for this astonishing product. CHEERS!

Well, now it is just DxOmark that has to stand in front of us with hat in hand and say the same thing and I will take the day of and drink a victory beer.

The K-1 was a camera worth waiting for. Pentax doesn't need three flavors of FF (at increasingly higher cost) like Nikon. Way to go Pentax/Ricoh!! I was out taking pictures over the weekend. I absolutely love the camera.
