K1 autofocus with aps-c lenses in crop mode

just wondering if anyone has tested the autofocus tracking ability with an APS-C lens? as you already know, if you use this type of lens the autofocus points spread out wider in the viewfinder then the K3. does the spread out points improve tracking?

There are more points, so yes. All the AF points are within the APS-C area.
