What AF Fine Adjustments have you needed on K-1?

Having been used to the need for AF calibration for most lenses on K-5 and K-3, I had no reason not to expect the same with the K-1.

So far I've been generally happy with K-1 focus accuracy, out of the box, with most of my 'old' lenses (mostly FA & DA primes) so haven't felt the need to perform a thorough calibration.

But today my new 24-70/2.8 arrived and clearly needed adjustment. A +4 adjustment did the trick.

Just wondering which lenses you have needed to make AF adjustments for on the K-1?

I did this about the second day I had the K-1 (about 2hrs work for 8 or so lenses)...... all lenses needed some adjustment.... primes are pretty straight forward, but needed to consider my 150-450 and 70-200 uses to optimise the adjustment across the zoom range...... most in the -4 to +4 range...

I started this thread on the 24-70... All other lenses are spot on.

For now, i have back-focus issues with :
- FA*300/2.8
- FA*85/1.4
- Tokina ATX pro 80-200/2.8
Not yet corrected, because other priorities.

Seems pointless. Your 24-70 may need no adjustment on my K-1.

I'm just curious whether the need for AF adjustment is as prevalent on the K-1 as on previous Pentax bodies. Perhaps it is pointless but I felt like asking. I wonder what is the point of responding to a question you find pointless

I now tested the D FA24-70 f2.8 on the K-1 (Used it on the K-3 before) and there is no need for adjustment. For more info read the thread I linked to in my previous post.

Dfa 15 30 on mine is at -2.
Dfa 24 70 is all over.
May be because last two lenses from tamron.

Well, not for my benefit, Kennod.

You might not understand that it's a sample variation issue of particular lenses and particular bodies. It's not an issue of a model's design, it's individual manufacturing tolerances.

If you tell us that you did a +4 on your 24-70 that doesn't even imply we should do the same.

Can't think why you'd ask if you realised that.

Same. And the 43 and 31 are old. Only the 77 is new.
