The builtin GPS. I had no intention of adding a external unit to my camera and I always wanted the ability to tag my photos with location rather than relying on my cell phone. That feature is a major reason for getting on board so early. Of course the K3ii had it but that alone was not enough for me to upgrade (with the knowledge that a FF was in the works)

The rear LCD is genius. I've heard mixed reviews, but once I actually got my hands on it and used it, I was blown away.

How easy it is to get great pictures with the K1, even compared to the K3.

Most of the stuff mentioned are good things.
I will use the GPS some.
The sound of tearing linen is pleasant.
The tilty screen is amusing and has a satisfying thunk when it is stowed.

However, the first thing that comes to my mind is the customizeable INFO menu...

+ alright, my favorite feature is the ease with which an SD card is removed from Slot 1. my K5 never learned to stop fighting me.
